The Society of Third Infantry Division

L'associazione della Terza Divisione di fanteria è la più antica associazione militare dell'esercito americano, continuamente attiva, ha supportato i fanti della divisione fin dal dal 1919. L'associazione esiste per onorare i soldati caduti, per sostenere i membri della divisione e delle loro famiglie e perpetuare una rete solidale di soldati, tra passato e presente. L'associazione ha l'obiettivo di mantenere i legami che nascono durante il servizio militare o durante i conflitti, legami forti, dove la vita di un soldato dipende dal proprio compagno che sta al fianco. Legami che spesso restano forti per tutta la vita diventando per ogni fante una seconda famiglia. La voglia di ogni associato è quella di mantenere il passo al fianco del proprio compagno, nella vita come nella marcia fin dal primo giorno nella Terza Divisione di Fanteria.

Ci siamo conosciuti a seguito dell'inaugurazione dei monumenti ai due eroi, Britt e Lindstrom, ed è nata subito un amicizia. Ringraziamo il nuovo presidente, 1st Sgt. Toby P. Knight che ha voluto inserire nel sito dell'associazione il link alla nostra, cosa che ricambieremo al più presto.

Siamo onorati di questa unione e condivisione di esperienze e di memoria e speriamo in un prossimo futuro di collaborare su progetti e di incontrarci un giorno.

The Society of the Third Infantry Division

The association of the Third Infantry Division is the oldest US Army Military Association, continuously active, has supported the infantry division since 1919. The association exists to honor the fallen soldiers, to support members of the division and their families and perpetuate a supportive network of soldiers, past and present. The association's goal is to maintain the bonds that are born during the military service or during conflicts, strong bonds, where a soldier's life depends on her partner who is at his side. Ties often remain strong throughout life becoming a foot soldier for every second family. The desire of each member is to keep pace alongside her partner, in life as in the march from the first day of the Third Infantry Division.

We met in the opening below the monuments to the two heroes, Britt and Lindstrom, and is born just a friendship. We thank the new president, 1st Sgt. Toby P. Knight who wanted to include in the website of the link to our, which reciprocate soon.

We are honored by this union and sharing of experience and memory and we hope in the near future to collaborate on projects and meet some time.
