Nei cieli d'Africa, Europa e nel Pacifico, scortarono e diedero battaglia; a volte in superiorità tecnologica a volte in inferiorità, ma sempre con il coraggio e la spregiudicatezza, mai senza quell'affronto all'impossibile che fa di ogni pilota di guerra un "Asso".
